1) Who we are

Svante Green Effect Ltd (“Svante”, “we”, “us”) provides solar products (via KSolar), consulting services, and Green AI tools in Kenya.

2) Scope of services

  • Products: Solar lighting, backup kits, inverters, batteries, and accessories sold via our shop or agents.
  • Consult: Site assessments, system design, quotations, and implementation support as per agreed scope.
  • Green AI: Analytics, reporting, and chat-based assistance for energy optimization and quotations.

3) Quotes, pricing, and payment

  • Quotes are typically valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise and may change due to FX, supplier, or stock shifts.
  • Payment terms (deposit/balance) appear on each invoice/quotation; late payments may delay delivery.
  • Prices exclude duties/taxes unless explicitly included.

4) Orders, delivery, and installation

  • Delivery timelines depend on stock, location, and confirmed payment.
  • Installation (if provided) follows the agreed scope; any on-site variations may require a change order.
  • Risk in goods transfers on delivery; title transfers on full payment.

5) Warranty and returns

  • Products carry manufacturer or stated warranties; proof of purchase and compliant installation are required.
  • Misuse, unauthorized modifications, or improper installation void warranty.
  • Returns are handled per Kenyan consumer law and our returns process; contact us for an RMA before sending items back.

6) AI and acceptable use

  • AI outputs are advisory; always confirm critical decisions with a Svante expert.
  • No illegal, harmful, or abusive use. We may suspend access if misuse is detected.
  • Data shared with AI is handled under our Privacy Policy.

7) Data protection

We process personal data per the Kenya Data Protection Act and our Privacy Policy. Marketing is opt-in; you can withdraw consent at any time.

8) Liability

  • We exclude indirect or consequential losses to the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law.
  • Total liability for a claim is capped at the fees paid for the relevant product or service giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing limits liability for gross negligence, fraud, or matters that cannot be excluded by law.

9) Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes will first be addressed amicably; failing that, the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.

10) Updates

We may update these terms to reflect changes in services, law, or operations. The “last updated” date shows the latest version.
